Mumbai, Nov 19 : The market ended with strong gains lifting the Sensex up 359.40 points or 1.4 percent at 25841.92.
Nifty on the other hand ended tad below 110.95 points or 1.4 percent trading at 7842.75.
Bajaj Auto, GAIL, Infosys, HDFC and Vedanta were among the top gainers while Dr Reddy’s Labs, Sun Pharma, Coal India and Axis Bank were among the losers.
The closing witnessed aviation stocks in focus with Jet Airways, SpiceJet and Interglobe Aviation giving an extended rally up 6 to 8 percent. (ANI)
