Senior Support Engineer

Job Description:

B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
– Six or more years of development/testing/technical Support Experience.
– Experience in Perl, shell scripts, Ruby, etc.
– Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system
– Experience with C++ and/or Java.
Excellent Leadership skills
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Strong understanding of support – tickets, monitoring, and metrics
A passion towards problem-solving
Strong decision-making ability
Must be able to think proactively; excellent follow-through and attention to details.
Willing to work in round the clock shift
Experience in automation via shell scripting and Perl programming.
Familiarity of Oracle Databases and OBIEE
Demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence.
Ability to retain composure under stressful conditions
