Senior Staff Design Engineer – DFT Architect

Job Description:

As the DFT lead of the physical design team in Hyderabad, you’ll be responsible for definition and implementation DFT architecture of complex designs.

Essential Duties , Competencies & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Responsible for creating the DFT architecture and derive requirements for complex SOC based designs
Develops or reviews test plans and signing off DFT targets
Reviews proposed changes in DFT methodology to determine their appropriateness and feasibility and proposes the best path forward
Complete Hands on ownership of one or more DFT activities : SCAN, ATPG, MBIST and LBIST
Interacting with Chip Architecture, RTL design, verification , physical implementation and silicon testing teams and understands their needs and dependencies in DFT enablement
Provides technical mentoring, and knowledge sharing via brown bags, formal presentations, and working meetings to broad organization and leaders
Defines and drives workflow processes to mitigate challenges and support planning

Must be an expert in industry standard DFT methodologies including ATPG, MBIST and LBIST
Must have prior hands on experience in taping out multiple chips and post silicon DFT bring up.
Must have complete hands-on experience of various DFT tasks:
Be able to modify design (RTL) (OR provide specific feedback) for DFT readiness ( Scan / MBIST and LBIST) of the design
Scan stitching in multimodes, Compression/decompression,core wrapper and memory bist insertion,
ATPG setup creation, pattern generation, develop STA constraints for scan modes
Debug DFT simulation failures and STA timing issues
JTAG, PLL, DLL, DDR PHY and analog testing experience
LBIST xbounding and fault simulations
Must be highly experienced in Mentor and synopsys DFT flows, verilog, system verilog.

Must have good scripting skills, TCL,Perl etc
Must have excellent documentation and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements MSEE
Years of Relevant Experience 12+

Qualification should be from electronics fields only
Education:UG -Any Graduate – Any Specialization
PG – M.Tech – Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication
Doctorate – Doctorate Not Required
