Hyderabad City Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy on Sunday notified Traffic diversions and restrictions on account of “Saddula Bathukamma” festival on Tuesday (October 20) at L.B. Stadium and on Upper Tank bund from 4 pm to 11.30 pm.
The traffic coming from Secunderabad towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan –Bible House towards Kawadiguda – Lower Tank bund. Traffic coming from Kattamaisamma temple and Kawadiguda side towards Childrens park-Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minar towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted at Old Gate Secretariat to the Telugu Thalli flyover – Kattamaisamma. At AR Petrol Pump Junction, traffic will not be allowed towards BJR statue and will be diverted towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharati
Traffic coming from Abids side will not be allowed towards BJR statue and Basheerbagh Junction and it will be diverted at SBH Gunfoundry towards Chapel road. Similarly, Traffic coming from Old MLA Quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at Old MLA Qtrs towards Himayatnagar Y Junction. Traffic coming from King Koti towards Basheerbagh via Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will be diverted at King Koti crossroads Roads towards Tajmahal Hotel.
Traffic coming from Old PCR towards Basheerbagh Junction will be diverted at PCR towards Nampally road. Vehicles coming from Hill Fort will be diverted towards Nampally at Old PCR junction and will not be allowed towards Basheerbagh. Traffic coming from Himyathnagar Y Junction towards Liberty will be diverted at Himayathnagar Y Junction towards Old MLA Quarters. Vehicles coming from Panjagutta and Rajbhavan Road towards Khairatabad flyover will not be allowed beyond Indira Gandhi Statue circle towards NTR Marg. The Traffic between Nallagutta junction and Buddha Bhavan will not be allowed. (NSS)
