Sachin Tendulkar condoles Jagmohan Dalmiya’s demise

New Delhi, Sept. 20: Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar on Sunday condoled the demise of Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI) chief Jagmohan Dalmiya in BM Birla Heart Research Centre in Kolkata.

Tendulkar took to twitter to express his condolences.

“Heartfelt condolences to the family & friends of Jagmohan Dalmiya. Had met him in June. little did I realise that it would be the last..Will always cherish his encouragement & support over the years. Worked hard for the game of cricket & excelled as an administrator,” Tendulkar tweeted.

“Was touched by his efforts to make my penultimate Test at Eden Gardens very special. RIP Jagmohan Dalmiya,” he added in another tweet.

Dalmiya passed away this evening following a massive cardiac arrest. He was 75 years old.

Dalmiya was admitted to BM Birla Heart Research Centre on Thursday due to a heart problem.
