RSS “Shakhas” spreading its wings even in Middle East where they are banned

New Delhi: Girish Bagmar, former Congressman from Pune joined RSS recently. He is now in Boston, US. He reported that his sons go to “RSS Shakhas” in US. In Middle East where such activities are banned, RSS functions under the title “Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS)”. Most of his friends in US also send their children to these “Shakhas” so that they are aware of their cultural values.

RSS is continuing its activities even in the Middle East under the banner Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS). It has branches in 39 countries including the Middle East where outdoor “Shakhas” are not allowed.

They organize parades in houses since it is not allowed openly. The largest number of “Shakhas” is in Nepal. In US there are 146 “Shakhas”. The parades are held once or twice a week.
