Telangana government gave away Rs. 51000 to each of the 17675 families under Shaadi Mubarak Scheme. Thus it disbursed Rs. 88,14,25,000 so far. Special Secretary for Welfare Bhopal Reddy took stock of the implementation of Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyan Lakshmi scheme. Officials expressed satisfaction over the effective implementation and their results.
According to the figures presented by the Minority Welfare Department Rs. 27,54,43,000 has been distributed among 5793 during 2014-15 while during the current year Rs. 60,59,82,000 have been distributed among 11882 families. It must be noted that Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyan Lakshmi schemes have been included in the green channel.
