Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana had issued a G.O. for paying an honorarium of Rs. 1000 to Imams and Mozins of Masjid. Govt. will pay 5000 persons under this scheme. Budget has been released for the implementation of this scheme. Eligible candidates may register their applications online on the website, http://waqf.gov.in/homepage/homepage.php. before 30th December.
Secretary of Minorities Welfare Dept., Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS told that Wakf Board will implement this scheme. A committee would be constituted to screen the applications.
