CCTV Footage and Swift action by Railway Protection Force (RPF) lent a hand in nabbing a lady offender.
Going in to the details, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Assistant Loco Pilot of Train No.12736 Garib Rath Express from Guntakal to Secunderabad was sitting at AC Waiting Hall of Secunderabad station on Platform No.1 after signing off from his duties at 04:30 hrs at Secunderabad on 26th September. He went to wash room and after returning from there he found that his hand bag containing valuable documents, medical case sheets of his wife and clothing were missing. He immediately reported the same to RPF.
On obtaining the complaint, the on duty Asst Sub Inspector (ASI) of Secunderabad RPF Post immediately verified the CCTV footage and swiftly acted upon it. ASI deployed a team of RPF personnel including Crime Prevention and Detection Squad personnel to look in to the issue. The RPF team undertook immediate action and nabbed the accused, Nagamani, 30, of Moosapet, with the stolen bag. Later, the lady offender was handed over to Government Railway Police for further action. (INN)
