Road accident: Four killed

Hyderabad, July 10: A 38-year-old man died of grievous injuries which he suffered after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle.

The accident occurred near Vanasthalipuram crossroads on Wednesday night. The victim, P Yadagiri, was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was a resident of Dacharam in Nalgonda district and an employee of a private firm.

In a similar case, M Venkatesh, 28, of Nanakramguda, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained on July 4 after he was hit and run by an unidentified car near L&T Towers in Raidurgam police limits. He was admitted to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences at Panjagutta where he died on Wednesday night. He was a native of Bapatla in Guntur district.

In a different case, B Navya Rekha, 21, died of injuries which he sustained when the motorcycle, on which she was a pillion rider, was hit by an unidentified car near Uppal crossroads on July 1. The rider and her friend, Nagabhushanam, was also injured in the accident. Both were admitted to the NIMS at Panjagutta where Rekha died last night, Uppal police said.

In a separate case, Jahangir Bi, 40, succumbed to the injuries which she sustained on July 2, when the bike she was travelling on along with her husband Sardar Miyan, skidded near Ghatkesar. Both were admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where Jahangir Bi died on Wednesday night. They were residents of Bhongir in Nalgonda district. (INN)
