Retired police officer says Sheena Bora murder probe will take time

Mumbai: A retired Indian Police Service officer has said that the Sheena Bora murder probe will take time to solve.

“I know the team personally. Maria is an excellent investigating officer. They know the nuances of investigation. I am sure they will do it well,” said Sudhakar S.Suradkar, an expert on this case.

“This investigation will take time. This is a conspiracy. There are a lot of angles involved. There will be more culprits than the once involved in the murder. One cannot ignore the Raigad Police. If they would have done their work properly, the case would have ended back in 2012,” he added.

Suradkar said the probe team is moving forward with the case.

Indrani Mukerjea, accused in the murder case of her daughter Sheena Bora, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Shyam Rai will be produced in a Mumbai court today.

They will be produced before Bandra Magistrate’s Court for further remand.

Yesterday, all three accused were taken to the spot in Raigad, where Sheena’s body was dumped, to recreate the crime scene. (ANI)
