Job Description:
As Software Dev Advisor in Sustaining Development team you will lead the root cause analysis effort on a variety of applications in Order fulfillment domain in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to do the root cause analysis by interacting with various stake holders, provide containment and design innovative short term and long term solutions to real production issues. You will work closely with Application Management Support (AMS) and Application Development teams. This position reports to the Development Manager of the Sustaining Development team.
Role Responsibilities:
Providing containment, short term and long term solutions to production problems.
Managing Problem Known Errors (PKEs) life cycle
Engage Solution Architects, Sustaining Development team, Application Management Support (AMS) team and Application development team and derive a workable solution to Problem Known Errors.
Reporting PKE statistics
Analysis of re-occurring issues and provide a solution for permanent fix
Task Ticket resolution within the SLA
Requirements:
6 years of experience of .NET with at least 3-5 years in WEB and Middleware and WCF, MVC programming
PL/SQL Programming and experience in Object oriented design
Familiarity with field and lab-based usability research methodologies
Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus
Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems
Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
Preferences:
Experience with Supply chain domain
Experience with high volume transactional systems
