Representatives of Sikh, Gujarati communities call on PM Modi in San Jose

Representatives of the Sikh and Gujarati communities called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in San Jose today.
The Prime Minister exchanged pleasantries and shook hands with the members of the two communities.

“Continuing Community connect. Representatives of the Sikh and Gujarati communities call on PM @narendramodi,” tweeted Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

Prime Minister Modi earlier interacted with the members of the Indian community at Hotel Fairmont here.

The Prime Minister will address the Indian community in the famous SAP Centre which is expected to be attended by around 20,000 people.

The event would be hosted by stand-up comedian Rajiv Satyal along with popular actress Ashwini Bhave and Emmy award winner and the weeknight news anchor for NBC Bay Area Raj Mathai.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to meet top technology honchos later in the day. He will visit Tesla Motors and meet top officials of IT companies, including Tim Cook of Apple Inc., Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Sundar Pichai of Google Alphabet and Adobe head Shantanu Narayen.

The Prime Minister will also deliver an address at the Digital India and Digital Technology dinner. (ANI)
