Ramana complains to DGP, seeks justice

Telangana TDP president L. Ramana here on Monday complained to the Director General of Police that ruling TRS activists, accompanied by local police personnel, brutally attacked his party leaders, including TDLP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao, at a market yard function in Palakurty village on Sunday.

In a written complaint lodged with the Telangana DGP, the TTDP leader alleged that the ruling party workers and cops indiscriminately attacked the TDP workers without any provocation. He also alleged that the TRS workers had also attacked the TDP office. Alleging that Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has been visiting Palakurty frequently and provoking attacks on TDP workers and the party office, Ramana said several of his party men were grievously injured in the attack and were taking treatment in the hospital.

Alleging that the police not only belabored the innocent TDP workers and foisted criminal cases against them, the TTDP leader appealed to the DGP to render justice to them. (NSS)
