Union Labour and Employemt Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today stated that the BJP Government is committed for bifurcation of high courts for two Telugu states. Along with Telangana JAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram and Telangana Advocates JAC members Dattatreya called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at Delhi and apprised him of the immediate bifurcation of the high court. Later speaking to reporters, Dattatreya said that Rajnath Singh promised to resolve the issue without any further delay. Singh said that he will ask Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda to speed up the bifurcation process Dattatreya said. The union minister maintained that the Centre is in favour of the bifurcation and initiated steps for the purpose. I have been asking the Centre for a speedy process and a final call is awaited he asserted. The two states should have their own high courts to tackle legal issues, Dattatraya added. (NSS)
