Rajaiah says he won’t quit TRS

Making it clear that he will continue in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), former Deputy Chief Minister and Station Ghanpur MLA Dr Thatikonda Rajaiah has said he would move along with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Rajaiah refuted news reports that he would contest in a by-election to be held for Warangal Lok Sabha seat on Congress ticket. He asserted he would continue in the TRS only and become a part in the Bangaru Telangana.

Meanwhile, rumors are doing rounds that Rajaiah would rejoin the Congress and contemplating to contest for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat. The Warangal Lok Sabha seat has fallen vacant after Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari tendered resignation to Warangal MP post after becoming Deputy Chief Minister of the State. (NSS)
