Former Congress MP Sircilla Rajaiah, who was arrested in the case of suspicious death of his daughter-in-law and her three children, has been allotted Qaidi No. 2971 in the Warangal Central Jail.
Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi and son Anil Kumar have been allotted prisoners numbers on Friday. While Rajaiah has been allotted the number ‘2971’, his wife Madhavi got ‘7856’ while his son has been allotted Qaidi No. 2970. Madhavi has been lodoged in the Women’s Jail. They were arrested after the suspicious death of Sarika (35) and her children, Abhinav (7) and twins Ayan and Sriyan (4), on November 4 in a fire incident. It is not yet ascertained whether the deaths were accident, suicide or murder. After their arrest, they were produced before a magistrate who had remanded them to 14-day judicial custody.
Meanwhile, Warangal Police have constituted a special team to arrest Anil Kumar’s second wife Sana, who hailed from Hanamkonda of Warangal district. The team, comprising of a Sub-Inspector and two constables, reached Hyderabad on Friday and it has sought the cooperation of Hyderabad City Police to arrest Sana. (INN)
