Rahul Gandhi holds ‘padyatra’ in Rajasthan, attacks BJP on issues of corruption

Amarsinghwala (Rajasthan), July 16:
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday vowed that his party would not allow corruption to take place under the BJP-led NDA regime led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Gandhi, who was addressing the locals here, also took a jibe at the ruling dispensation over the controversy surrounding former IPL boss Lalit Modi.

“Everywhere you look there is corruption under the BJP. In Delhi, it is the External Affairs Ministry (EAM), here it is your Chief Minister and her son,” Gandhi said.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi thinks he is above the people of this country. Congress will not let corruption happen in Rajasthan. You will see us standing against corruption,” he added.

The Congress vice-president also lashed out at the Centre over the Land Acquisition Bill.

GandhI, who began his eight kilometer ‘ padyatra’ earlier today, would also interact with the farmers.(ANI)
