New Delhi: Subramanian Swamy, BJP leader on Monday alleged that Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi is a director of a company in Britain and had declared himself as a British citizen in the annual Return Form.
Subramanian Swamy also demanded to cancel Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship. He also wrote a letter to PM Modi in this regard. In the letter he claimed that Rahul Gandhi violated the law in Indian constitution and his nationality must be cancelled. However, Congress has rejected the charge and said that the purpose of this charge is to divert the attention from internal revolt in BJP Party.

Congress Communication Department Head, Randeep Singh Surjewala said that Rahul Gandhi is Indian citizen by birth and never accepted the citizenship of any other country.
Swamy also wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan to appoint a committee to look into the matter and terminate Rahul Gandhi’s membership in Parliament.
