Alleged ragging has created a flutter in Nizam College here on Thursday when a Degree second year student Rajeshwari telephoned to Police Control Room and informed them that she was committing suicide as she was not in a position to bare the harassment of one Rajashekar. The Narayanaguda police took Rajeshwari in to custody at Baghlingampally through phone signals, and shifted her to Abids Police Station immediately after receiving a phone call from her. The police were interrogating her. On the other hand, the Abids police was also interrogating Rajashekar after detaining him. Tension prevailed for some time at Abids police station when students gathered there in huge numbers. (NSS)
