Quota in Private Sector A Must–Yechuri

Hyderabad: Stating that implementation of reservations in private sector was a must, CPM national secretary Seetharam Yechuri has said that the public sector was sinking day by day due to THE reforms.
Participating in a conference on ‘Reservations in Private Sector-Human Right” held at Osmania University here on Monday, Yechuri demanded the Central government to convene a special Parliament session to discuss on reservations in private sector. He said that he addressed a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard. He reminded that the CPM national conference took a resolution on implementation of reservations in private sector. He said that the CPM will take up national level movement demanding the Central government to implement the reservations in private sector. Yechuri made it clear that the CPM was against the demand of RSS and VHP for review on reservations.
CPM state secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram, former state chief secretary Kaki Madhava Rao, Justice Chandrakumar and leaders from various Left parties participated in the program. (NSS)
