First edition of “Qaumi Zaban” an Urdu Monthly published by the Urdu Academy, Telangana State was officially released by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali in the Secretariat on Friday.
On this occasion, G.D.Aruna, IAS, Incharge Secretary, Minorities Welfare, Shri.M.J.Akbar, IFS, Director Minorities Welfare, Shri.Safiullah, IFS, Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation, and Prof.S.A.Shukoor, Director and Secretary Urdu Academy, Telangana State were also present.
Hon’ble Dy. CM lauded the efforts of Urdu Academy TS for coming out with the first edition of the Qaumi Zaban which is solely committed to propagate Urdu language especially amongst the younger generation.
He expressed happiness that the central government has released Rs. 37crores to Dar-Ul-Maarif – The State Archives and Research Institute, Tarnaka to be used in purchase of latest technology machinery for revival and safety of records that are being maintained since the times of Aurangzeb. (NSS)
