Dell.com is a top global ecommerce destination in more than 170 countries. Our Content Operations group drives day-to-day content change and deployment of new functionality. This new position, Director of Content Operations, will play a critical role in growing and leading our team in Hyderabad.
Leadership – Build and lead a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining customer-facing and high-quality content across Dell.com (140 Dell headcount and contractors).
People recruit top talent and foster an environment conducive to a high performing team. Coach, mentor and develop critical skills for all team members, providing timely feedback and coaching. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, including action plans against annual feedback surveys.
Operational excellence – ensure the teams are operating at scale with a strong focus on quality. Collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders across IT and business segments. Partner to align on plans and priorities to deliver a customer-focused experience.
Customer experience – drive a culture of ownership for improving the internal and external customer experience for all aspects of Dell.com.
Communication s – Focal point on communicating and revising the overall plans and outcomes, including sharing the overall metrics that drive the organization. Keeps team and leadership updated on operation / project status and risk factors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Provides technical and process guidance to project and operational teams.
Innovation – Maintain a strong culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability.

Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to effectively operate in a dynamic, internet-speed environment with ambiguous situations. A proactive approach to planning and communication is a critical success component.
Graduate with 10 years experience in operations / project management and 8 years people management experience especially with regard to building and motivating large globally-focused teams.
Experience managing and optimizing operations and processes. Strong focus on operational excellence.
Strong track record in building high performing organizations with a focus on people development and empowered teams.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple functions in a large organization.
In-depth knowledge and experience in Digital Commerce.
