President leaves for Delhi after Southern Sojourn

Having spent about 14 days in the city as part of Southern Sojourn, President of India Pranab Mukherjee left for New Delhi on at 11 AM on Thursday.

The President was accorded farewell at Hakeempet Airport Station by Governor ESL Narasimhan, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his cabinet colleagues and several other officials. KCR presented to the President an album containing photographs of events attended by the latter during the Southern Sojourn, according to a press release by the Chief Minister’s Office.

The President has stayed in Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bollaram during the Southern Sojourn and participated in various programmes in Telangana and also in other neighbouring States. (INN)
