Present education system lacks moral values – Karan Singh

Hyderabad: Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha M.P., Dr. Karan Singh told that modern education system lacks moral values. India has people from different religions. By forgetting religious teachings, social anarchy is being created which is deplorable. Dr. Karan Singh was addressing the 4th convocation of BITS, Pilani at Hyderabad. In the convocation, 748 students were awarded degrees. Syed Mujahid Husaini was awarded Ph.D. degree, Mohammed Faiz Iqbal was given degree in Computer Science whereas Syed Munawar got degree in Electronics, Syed Adil was awarded degree in Design Engineering, Mohammed Aakhib Ghouse got M.Pharma Degree and Ms. Syed Sayeeda Afreen was given a degree in Chemical Engineering.

 

Director of the institute Prof. Samba Siva Rao presented the report of Hyderabad campus of BITS Pilani. Prof. Bharat Bhoshan also addressed the gathering.
