Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar has categorically stated that the TRS Government would initiate works on Pranahita-Chevella project only after changing its design.
Speaking to media persons here, Vinod Kumar said that the State Government would not bow to the pressure of Congress party over retaining the original design of Pranahita-Chevella project. He said that the Congress party’s protest Tothapalli Project was unnecessary. He said that the Congress party has no moral right speak about the project as it should have been completed by 2012.
Vinod Kumar alleged that the Congress leaders turned the ‘Jala Yagnam’ programme into ‘Dhana Yagnam’ and amassed wealth illegally. (INN)
