Hyderabad: Had Mr. J.V. Narasing Rao, Dy. CM of A.P. been alive, he would have attained highest position. His personality was unique. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. KCR while inaugurating the centenary celebrations of J.V. Narasing Rao at ITC Kakatiya Hotel, Begum yesterday. Mr. KCR further told that there is a need to make aware of the deeds of the late J.V. Narasing Rao to the younger generation. He also told that he felt very happy that the statue of senior Congress leader, late Mr. G. Venkat Swami was erected at Tank Bund. He lamented that former PM, Mr. P.V. Narasimha Rao was overlooked completely in integrated A.P.
On this occasion, Mr. KCR disclosed that when he had met President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, he had appreciated him and told that many people struggle but he is the person who achieved the objective.
Mr. KCR released a biography on this occasion. The function was attended by leader of opposition, Mr. K. Jana Reddy, General Secretary of TRS and M.P. of Rajya Sabha, Dr. K. Keshav Rao, Advisor to Govt. of Telangana, Mr. K.V. Ramanachari and the family members of late J.V. Narasing Rao.
