Job purpose:
Client is currently seeking PowerBuilder Developer ranging from mid to lead level to work for one of their core application. This is a high visibility project impacting core business.
Duties and responsibilities:
1.3+ years of development experience with PowerBuilder Proven experience with SQL and writing Stored Procedures
2.Must have Relational Database experience
3.Sybase Database experience is a nice to have
4.Experience with test-driven development
5.Good to have basic Java programming skills
6.Perform extensive analysis and design working on projects of all sizes that require
7.Work with application/solution architects to set direction of design and development for application development projects
8.Evaluate user requests for new programs or modified program components to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities
9.Review technical designs and specifications for completeness and conformance to quality standards, especially as a mentor to less experienced developers.
10.Analyze business requirements, generating project specifications and converting them into code, and applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer language
