Possible terror attacks on PM Modi, Parliament put security forces on the edge

New Delhi: Around 20 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants had infiltrated into the country om across the border to carry out terror attacks at various locations in the country during New Year, according to an alert issued by the Intelligence Bureau.

As per the alerts, the militants plans to target PM Modi and the Parliament building in Delhi, Army headquarters at South Block and Indian nuclear facilities may be on the terror group radar, according to India Today.

On Tuesday,the Centre had asked all states to be on the vigil for terror threats, particularly in popular tourist destinations during New Year’s eve.

Intelligence bureau have issued a country-wide advisory asking all states to deploy additional forces in crowded places like bus terminus, malls and religious places to prevent attempt by terrorists to carry out attacks.
