Police tightens noose against foreign nationals, 4 arrested

In a major operation Hyderabad city police arrested 4 people who illegally entered in the country including two Bangladeshi nationals and one each from Pakistan and Myanmar. They were allegedly linked with a terror group Harkat-ul-Jihad-e-Islami (HuJI) in Bangladesh.

Acting upon a tip off police arrested 4 people including one agent Masood Ali Khan R/O Chanchalguda who was helping them in preparation of passport. Mr. Prabhakar Rao Joint Commissioner of police CS told this in a press conference.

The arrested were identified as Mohammed Nazeer (52), Faisal Mohammed alias Faisal (24), Zain ul Abideen alias Mohammed Osman (30), Zia ur Rahman (18), Masood Ali Khan (55) and Suhail Parvez Khan (31).

Joint Commissioner of Police Prabhakar Rao told reporters that the accused were sending job-seekers abroad on fake documents and illegal passports. They had so far sent 15 people abroad.

However police said it was yet to be established whether they were having direct links with any terrorist group. Police denied that they were planning any attacks during Independence Day celebrations.
