New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday wished Congress President Sonia Gandhi on her birthday.
“On her birthday, greetings to Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi. May Almighty bless her with long life & good health,” the Prime Minister tweeted today.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewalla also wished the party president.
“Heartfelt wishes to Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi on her birthday. Let her resilience, resolve & spirit of compassion always guide us,” he tweeted.
Earlier, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee extended her support to Sonia Gandhi over the National Herald case, disapproving the manner in which the court has asked Sonia to appear before it.
“Didn’t like the fact that Sonia Gandhi after being in politics for so many years will have to appear in the court. I will wish Sonia Gandhi on her birthday tomorrow,” she said. (ANI)
