New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed sadness over the loss of lives in twin bomb explosions in Turkish capital Ankara, the deadliest in the city’s history.

“Saddened by the loss of lives due to the bomb explosion in Ankara. Condolences to families of deceased & prayers with injured,” he tweeted.

The Turkish capital Ankara was rocked by two explosions during an anti-government peace rally, killing at least 86 people.

The attack, near Ankara’s main train station, was the deadliest in the city’s history.
