Hyderabad: A writ petition was filed in Hyderabad High Court requesting to direct Cultural Affairs Department to give permission for Eid prayers on NTR grounds near Indira Park. .Eid prayer will be held on July 18 or 19 depending upon moon sighting.
Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadees under the supervision of its general Secretary Mr. Shafeeq Aalam Khan filed the petition stating that earlier GHMC had given permission to offer prayer by collecting the required fee however the land has been handed over to Cultural Affairs Department hence this year permission is sought from the said department.
