A P Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today said the Pattiseema project works were completed on time despite some parties tried to create hurdles.
The Chief Minister inspected a lift irrigation project being constructed across the Godavari river near Pattiseema in West Godavari district. He also performed “Haarati” for the river Godavari near Itakulkota.
Speaking to mediapersons later, the Chief Minister said in a record time the first pump started working in first fortnight. “We could save crops worth Rs 2,400 crore by providing water from Pattiseema project”, he added. He also said Smart Water Grids would be constructed by preserving rain water and interlinking of rivers. (NSS)
