Patna: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan on Friday said that RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav will not be able to convince Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to rejoin the Janata Parivar.
“I don’t think he (Lalu Yadav) will be able to convince him. Mulayam Singh is stubborn, he won’t be lured by them,” Paswan told media here.
Lalu Yadav and Janata Dal (United) chief Sharad Yadav had met Mulayam Singh Yadav earlier today to try and convince him to review his decision to quit the Janata Parivar alliance.
The Samajwadi Party had earlier decided to walk out of the alliance due to seat sharing issues. The SP was allocated only five seats for the upcoming Bihar assembly polls, whereas RJD and JD (U) got 100 seats each. (ANI)
