Paris raid: Two suspects killed, mastermind holed up

London, Nov. 18: The mastermind of the Paris attacks is believed to have been holed up in an apartment in the northern Paris suburb of Saint Denis where at least two suspects, a man and woman, have been killed and two others have been detained, according to the police as the raid still continues.

The woman reportedly blew herself up with a suicide belt. She was one of two suspected terrorists killed, the Telegraph reported.

According to ABC News, two police officers have also been injured in the standoff in Saint-Denis.

Police have said the operation is targeting the suspected mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud of last week’s attacks.

At least seven explosions have been heard at the scene till now.

Authorities in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis have evacuated about 20 residents from the building.
