Palamur bandh a shame; Jupally resents Balraju- Rammohan clash

Telangana Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today slammed the Opposition parties for criticizing the TRS government for political gain.

Addressing mediapersons at TRS’ Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, Jupally said his party MLA G Balraju slapped Congress Makthal MLA Rammohan Reddy for scolding him during Palamur ZPTC meeting. “It is shame on the part of the Congress for organizing Palamur Bandh due to the incident which was purely personal. Krishan Rao also flayed the former minister D K Aruna for resorting to tongue lashing against the TRS Government and trying to protect her brother Rammohan Reddy in the incident.

“The law will take its own course on the alleged brawl between two leaders. The Government will take action according to law”, he said. The minister said Balraju slapped Rammohan Reddy for behaving in a rash manner. He also flayed Congress Telangana Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy for making a hue and cry to protect his party leaders.

Jupally took serious exception to CLP leader K Jana Reddy for lashing out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the alleged incident. He said the Congress failed to give a call for bandh when students were thrown into jail during Telangana movement by the Congress government. The law will take its own course, he said, adding the Telugu Desam leaders have no right to talk on Palamur irrigation projects and development of the State.

Krishna Rao reminded that the Congress leaders from Telangana did not question then Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for denying drinking waters to Hyderabad and diverting the waters for third crop in Andhra region, he charged. (NSS
