Pakistan police arrest seven suspected TTP militants

Karachi, July 11: Pakistani police have arrested seven suspected Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants in the Maripur area.

According to the Dawn, official in charge of the anti-extremism cell Ali Raza said that the cell arrested local Taliban commander Haji Sher Muhammad and six other associated in Maripur.

Muhammad had been planning a terror attack in the city along with his associates, according to the officer.

The official also said that Mohammad had close links with Mohmand TTP chief Umar Khalid Khurasani.

A huge quantity of arms and ammunition was also seized recovered from them. (ANI)
