Pakistan hands over Indian youth to Army in Poonch

Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec.17 (ANI): An Indian youth, who had crossed over to other side of India-Pakistan border, was handed over to Indian Army authorities along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A defence spokesman said that 22-year-old Mohammed Rashid, who had crossed over to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on June 12, 2015, was handed over by Pakistani troops on Wednesday evening.

Rashid was then handed over to police for further questioning.

The defence spokesperson said Rashid, had crossed over to Pakistan for reasons still under investigation by the police. (ANI)
