BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh today congratulated Punjab Police and the Army for eliminating all the terrorists involved in the Gurdaspur attack, in a day-long operation.
The leader said that the country won’t allow Pakistan to execute its evil plans and the Dinanagar incident was a lesson it should learn by heart.
The timely action by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the SAD-BJP government in Punjab foiled the plan of Pakistan aided infiltrators, giving a clear message to Pakistan that India won’t take things lying down, he said.
Chugh saluted the brave officers of Punjab Police, Army Jawans and commandos who worked as a team to neutralise the infiltrators.
He said that it was unfortunate that policemen including Baljit Singh, a SP level officer were martyred during the operation.
“The country bows before the heroes who have sacrificed their lives to protect the lives and honour of the people of country,” he said.
In a major terror attack, three fidayeen, believed to have come from Pakistan, today attacked passengers in a moving bus and stormed a police station in Punjab, killing seven persons, including an SP, while all the terrorists were gunned down after a day-long operation.
