Pak Army Chief emphasises need for Kashmir resolution in meeting with Kerry

Karachi, Nov. 19 : Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has told US Secretary of State John Kerry in a meeting that there is a need for resolution on the Kashmir dispute.
According to the Dawn, Sharif discussed regional security regarding India and Afghanistan, and the need for regional stability.

The military’s media wing said that Sharif specifically stressed Paksitan’s perspective on regional security, reiterating the country’s desire to strengthen and solidify Pak-US relations based on mutual interest and respect.

Kerry acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in fighting terrorism, the ISPR statement said. (ANI)
