New Delhi, Sept. 6 : Ex-servicemen protesting for the implementation of the much awaited one-rank-one-pension (OROP) scheme, called off their hunger strike on Sunday, after receiving Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s reassurance on OROP.
Colonel Pushpendra, Havildar Major Singh and Havildar Ashok Singh called off their hunger strike after Major General (Retired) Satbir Singh fed the war veterans. (ANI)
