Operation Late Night Roam-Yo’s: 28 youth sent to jail

Nearly 28 youth, who were caught in operation Chabuthra mission conducted by South Zone Police since last two day, were sentenced to jail for two days.

The 28 youth were caught while they were boozing in the public places of Old City. Subsequently three were booked under Nirbhaya Act for teasing the minor girls. They are being sent to remand after investigation.

“The South Zone Police will not spare Nocturnal Youths hereafter if they continue to indulge in eve teasing, public boozing, dangerous bike racing, etc.,. It is an appeal to the parents not to allow their children to move during late night without purposeful reasons and requested to cooperate with Police for betterment of society and be a friend of police,” DCP South Zone V. Satyanarayana said.

Keeping all unforeseen circumstances in view the South Zone Police has initiated to safeguard the prospective future of the potential youngsters of the city of Hyderabad by preventing them from all such activities which leads towards to transform the youngsters and minors of the city into hardcore criminals and in other terms the South Zone Police determines to eliminate and control antisocial elements from the society.

The majority of youngsters and minors of the city instead of focussing on their academic and professional careers are wasting their precious time behind insignificant activities and getting addicted to the unruly modern trends and bad habits. In reality this routine practice of the youngsters and minors will undeniably lead them towards unanticipated risks and they unwittingly becoming the victims of professional criminals who misguides and transform these innocent youngsters into potential criminals.

In the continuous processes of “Operation Chabuttra” South Zone Police has been rounded up 119 youths since last two intervening night. Among them 28 unruly youths, cases were booked under section 188 IPC and 70 a & b of CP act and produced in the Spl. M.M. Court of Hyderabad and all were sentenced for imprisonment for 2 days and two case was registered under NIRBAYA Act against 3 youths in the limits of PS Chatrinaka for eve teasing the minor girls repetitively. They are being sent to judicial custody for remand after completion of investigation

All the petty vendors of the Idly Dosa push carts of south zone vicinity have been warned to run their business during the permitted hours to avoid above nuisance. Any late night business beyond the timings will be viewed severely.

The DCP said that from hereafter the “Operation Chabuttra” would carry out in stringent manner and any one moving in late night without any cause will be booked under relevant section of laws particularly on the youth indulging in Public boozing, eve teasing, dangerous bike racing etc., (INN)
