One hurt as two groups fight on HCU Campus

A student received injuries when the students of two unions entered into a fighting at Hyderabad Central University here on Tuesday.

According to reports, representatives of Akhil Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) and Ambedkar Students’ Union (ASU) entered into a fight. The students divided into two and fought like street rowdies. ABVP leader Susheel received injuries in the fight. He was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Later, the ABVP students staged a dharna by sitting on the road alleging that the ASU leaders attacked them without any provocation. The police entered the campus and brought the situation under control. (NSS)
