The Jubilee Hills police on Saturday arrested one Ashish Singh Chopra on charges of drunken driving and assault. Chopra, who reportedly claimed that he was a relative of Tejdeep Kaur, IPS, was found to have consumed excessive alcohol on the basis of breath analyzer readings.
When the police tried to arrest him, Chopra created a ruckus and even attacked journalists, who were at the spot. When the police intervened, he allegedly attacked the police as well. The police took him into custody and seized his car along with five others. (NSS)
