One held for cheating youth by CCS

Hyderabad, July 10: CCS Marketing Intelligence Team here on Thursday nabbed one Shaik Hameed alias T. Satish Reddy at Om Viharika Colony in Medipally, Uppal, for fraudulently extorting money from youth after promising to procure jobs.

According to the CCS team, the accused posted an advertisement in a Telugu daily on April 3 this year offering jobs in the Shamshabad, Gannavaram, Vishakapatnam, Reniguntha International Airports. The accused had stated that they wanted 69 house-keeping supervisers, 51 canteen supervisers, 47 cargo supervisers and 23 Trolley supervisors (23) urgently and all of them would be paid month salary of Rs 15200.

When the gullible youths called him on the given phone numbers, the accused had ask ed them to deposit Rs 1,100 each towards processing fee. After collecting the money, the cheat evaded their calls. Suspecting foul play, so far three of the victims approached the police, who took up investigation for cheating the innocent people causing financial loss to them.

Police said Shaik Hameed alias T. Satish Reddy alias Hameed, 33, started ‘‘Shiva Ganesh Services’ at Plot No. 59, Om Viharika Colony, beside Apex Hospital, Medipally, Uppal, and was residing at H. No. 2-3-231/B, Srikrishna Nagar, Yousufguda, Hyderabad. He is a native of. Erragattu village under Huzurnagar mandal of Nalgonda district.

During the arrest of the accused, the police seized three notenooks, one Nokia mobile phone, Andhra Bank Passbook, an Andhra Bank Debit Card, SBI Debit Card, Pan card and a cash of Rs 2 lakh from his possession.
A team led by Inspector G. Shankar Raju apprehended the accused under the supervision of ACP Cyber Crimes Dr B. Anu Radha. (NSS)
