Govt. Institute of Advanced Study in Education is located at Mansaheb Tank. Although it offers education in important courses, the candidates face a lot of problems due to poor infrastructural facilities. Not only the authorities have neglected building care, but due to absence of permanent principal, the subordinates’ willfulness has also added to the woes of students.
It is said that besides the building being precarious the institute also lacks furniture. But interestingly the staff arranges parties for high officials on frequent intervals and the worst part is wood of the furniture is being used for cooking. Amount is collected from the candidates to arrange the party which is illegal. Students have complained that Rs. 200 to Rs. 500 are being collected for the party. Even cooking in the college premises is also against law. High officials of education department should take action against the offenders.
