Obama, Netanyahu to meet on Nov. 9 to discuss historic Iran deal

London: US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are finally set to meet on November 9 at the White House to discuss the Iran nuclear deal that Israel’s government has tried to block without success.

According to The Guardian, the White House press secretary, Josh Earnest, said that Obama and Netanyahu will also discuss strategy to counter Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the Middle East.

He called the meeting a demonstration “of the deep and enduring bonds between the United States and Israel” and US’ “unprecedented cooperation to further enhance Israel’s security.”

It will be the first formal meeting between the two leaders in months. (ANI)
