Non-government offices directed to vacate Hajj House complex

Keeping in view the difficulties in conducting Hajj camp for Hajj 2015, Secretary Minority Welfare has directed non-government office present in the complex to vacate their area. He also directed Waqf workers who were using rooms of the building as residence to vacate the same.

This year daily 3 flights are scheduled in connection with the departure of the aspirants. As per the schedule Hajj Committee has to arrange accommodation of 2500 at a time. Hajj aspirants have to report 48 hours before their departure hence aspirants to leave next day will reach Hajj House before the first batch leaves the Hajj House. It was tried to hire function hall near the Hajj House but the function hall is engaged in those days. Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel talked to Special Officer Hajj committee Prof. S A Shukoor on the issue and later decided to vacate the non-government offices to accommodate more number of pilgrims.
