No water supply in Hyderabad on 8,9 Sept

There will be no water supply on September 8 and 9, due to leakages from a 1200/1000 mm dia PSC pipeline between Khanapur and Attapur Ring Road.

According to Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), works pertaining to leakages would be taken which requires a 24 hours shut down will be no water supply.

Consequently, the following areas will see no water supply. Golconda, Bapunagar, Ambedkarnagar, Mehdipatnam, Bhojagutta, Muradnagar, Karwan, Jyothinagar, Om nagar, Sabzimandi, Padmanabhanagar, Allabanda(Part), Kakatiyanagar (Part), Old Mallepally area and Vijaynagar colony(Part).

Further, due to junction work on 1000 mm dia PSC pipeline to Banjara Hills from Lingampally reservoir, the areas, Banjara Hills, Jubillee Hills, Venkatagiri, Thattikhana, Anandnagar Colony, Venkatramana Colony, Premnagar, Somajiguda, BS Maktha, MS Maktha, Methodist Colony, Umanagar, Kundanbagh, Punjagutta, Errum Manzil, Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, Balkampet, Sanathnagar, Bapunagar, Fathenagar, Ameerpet, Yellareddyguda, Yousufguda, Erragadda, Vengala Rao Nagar, Kalyan Nagar, Madhuranagar, Srinagar Colony, Kamalapuri Colony, Jawaharnagar, part of Borabanda and Siddharth Nagar.BS Maktha, MS Maktha, Methodist colony, Umanagar, Kundanbagh, Panjagutta, Errum-manzil, SR Nagar, will not get water supply on 8 and 9 September.

The HMWS&SB officials advised the Consumers in the above localities to store the sufficient water.
